TMZ – Rock star Scott Weiland was found dead on his tour bus in Minnesota … TMZ has learned.
Weiland was on tour with his band Scott Weiland & the Wildabouts … they were supposed to play the Medina Ballroom tonight, but the show was cancelled.
A source connected to the band tells us Scott was found Thursday night on the bus around 9 PM — presumably, shortly before the band was to go on.
Very sad news, rest in peace #ScottWeiland #toosoon

Anyone that has followed STP since the early 90’s knew that Scott had a nice little alcohol and drug problem over the past 20+ years. That being said, he was the leader of one of the best rock bands of all time. Every time an old STP song comes on the radio I’ll still rip that shit word-for-word just like everyone else in America does. That’s what makes Scott Weiland and the rest of The Stone Temple Pilots legends today. They’re music still bangs in 2015.
So lets not remember Scott for things like this (The drugs part)
